JET EVS-1440 Electronic Variable Speed lathe with Acu-Rite 203 DRO, 3HPThe EVS 1440B is engineered to maximize your shop's output. The D1 4 Spindle is precision ground for accuracy and supported by class 7 tapered roller bearings capable of a run out maximum of . 0004". The spindle also features an apron mounted actuation control and jog button for easy gear engagement and spindle inching. The two speed gearbox allows operators to easily work at low speeds from 40 to 365 RPM, and at high speeds from 220 to 2,000 RPM.

Solid and strong

It's strong enough to hold it's shape. I attached it with 2 screws, and was able to put 2 power strips inside.
It's a bit annoying to have the big "StarTech.COM" logo on the front, so I mounted it backwards, facing the wall. The whole point of a black tray is to hide things and blend in, not advertise for "StarTech"! So minus 1 star for that.

Take pictures of product pieces in the carton. Assemble where you have room to lay each piece out.

This is a great product, and easy to assemble. The directions were straightforward. Only snag was getting pieces to line up, but able to figure it out. Good tools included.
